Rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West has taken to social media to expose a staggering $2 million proposal he received to promote a fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme. The proposal, which West declined, entailed an initial payment of $750,000 for posting a promotional message on his platform, followed by a massive $1.25 million payout after 16 hours.
According to the screenshot shared by West, the proposal instructed him to keep the post live for eight hours before claiming his account had been hacked. This would have given the scammers an opportunity to deceive the public and potentially amass significant profits before the fraud was uncovered.
West emphasized his refusal to betray his followers for financial gain and ceased all interactions with the individual who presented the offer, stating that he “said no” and stopped working with them on February 7th.
