Beyerdynamic Aventho 300 Review: Great Sound, Steep Price
The Beyerdynamic Aventho 300 headphones are a mixed bag. On one hand, they produce world-class sound that rivals even the best noise-canceling headphones on the market. The clean and clear audio is a major selling point for these cans, making them an excellent choice for anyone who values high-quality sound.
However, the same can’t be said about their noise-canceling abilities. While they do provide some level of silence, it’s not up to par with more expensive options. In fact, I found that they couldn’t fully block out even moderate levels of background noise.
It’s a shame, really. With great sound and an excellent build quality, the Aventho 300 would be a no-brainer for anyone looking for a pair of wireless headphones. But the lackluster noise-canceling puts them firmly in a niche category.
Priced at $400, these headphones are simply too expensive considering their limitations. If you’re not bothered by ambient noise and don’t need top-of-the-line noise-canceling, then these might be worth considering. However, if you fall into the latter category or have any other budget constraints, there are far better options out there.
It’s a shame because the Aventho 300 is actually one of my favorite new pairs of headphones, and I can’t help but feel that it’s wasted potential.
