Altcoins Suffer Double-Digit Losses as BTC Dumps Below $84K (Market Watch)
The cryptocurrency market has taken a drastic turn for the worse, with the majority of altcoins suffering double-digit losses. The downturn in sentiment comes after Bitcoin’s (BTC) price dump below $84,000.
As of this writing, Ethereum (ETH) is down 11.5% to reach $2,100, while Ripple (XRP) has slumped by 12% to trade at $2.35. Solana (SOL) has taken an even bigger hit, with a massive 16% decline that saw its price drop below $140.
The list of heavily affected assets goes on and on, as DOGE, ADA, LINK, LTC, AVAX, SUI, XLM, SHIB, among many others, have all posted losses in excess of 10%.
