White House Crypto Summit on March 7: Official Invitations Sent, Coinbase CEO Confirmed
The White House is set to host its inaugural Crypto Summit on March 7, a groundbreaking event that will bring together influential figures from the cryptocurrency industry and government. The summit is expected to be a pivotal moment in the evolution of digital assets in the United States.
According to reports, official invitations have been sent out recently, revealing a list of high-profile attendees. Notably, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has confirmed his participation in the event. This development comes as no surprise, given the increasing importance of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in modern finance.
The summit, which will take place from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM on March 7, promises to be a unique opportunity for key stakeholders to engage in discussions with policymakers and shape future policies. The event is part of a series aimed at fostering collaboration between the government and the digital assets industry, effectively replacing the previously proposed “crypto advisory council.”
Notably, the guest list is expected to be smaller than initially anticipated, with around 20-25 attendees. Industry leaders such as MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, and Kraken CEO Arjun Sethi have been confirmed for the event.
The roundtable discussions will involve key figures from both the public and private sectors, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Attorney General Pam Bondi, SEC Chair, and CFTC Chair.
