Roman Reigns Wore Pre-Released Retro Jordan 4s During His Raw Return
Roman Reigns’ return to WWE programming was a significant moment in the lead-up to WrestleMania 41. The Tribal Chief made his presence felt on Monday Night Raw, laying waste to Seth Rollins and CM Punk in an explosive and high-energy segment that had the crowd at Madison Square Garden on their feet.
But what caught many eyes, including those of this sneakerhead, was Reigns’ choice of footwear for the occasion. As he delivered a Curb Stomp-in-the-making outside the ring to Rollins, Roman’s retro Jordan 4s were on full display. What made it even more noteworthy is that these weren’t just any old pair – they’re the as-yet-unreleased Nigel Sylvester ‘Brick-by-Brick’ Jordan 4s.
The fact that Reigns wore them during his Raw return makes it a timely departure from his usual signature retro Jordan 12s. Jordan Brand and Nike are clearly investing heavily in promoting these releases, and the heightened awareness around them is sure to make the chase to cop a pair all the more intense on Friday morning.
As of now, the retail price for the shoes will be $225, but expect resellers to push the price closer to $1,000 or more after the drop and once retailers have sold out.
