The wife of former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has penned an emotional message following his release from the team.
Anna Marie Kupp, who is also Cooper’s sister-in-law as she is married to Cooper’s brother, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram after the news broke that her husband had been released by the Rams.
“You have the ability to turn the tides of any organization you step foot into. The man that you are, the leader that you embody, the brother on and off the field,” she wrote in part. “The standard you hold yourself to and bring others along in your pursuits. People want to be better because of who you are and how you conduct your business.”
Anna Marie expressed her excitement for Cooper’s future endeavors, stating: “I am so excited for the impact you will have in these coming years… To the moon, my King.”
Cooper Kupp, 31, had an incredible 2021 season with the Rams, winning the NFL receiving triple crown and Super Bowl MVP honors. However, injuries have limited his production over the past three seasons.
