
Trader Joe’s has issued a recall of certain lots of Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water due to the potential risk of laceration injuries. According to reports from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, approximately 61,500 glass bottles of this product were sold in 12 states and may be cracked or damaged.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to use them and instead dispose of them carefully. Trader Joe’s has offered a full refund for any affected lots, which can be obtained by returning the bottles to the store where they were purchased.
The recalled product was sold in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas from December 27, 2024 to January 28, 2025. The affected lots can be identified by specific lot code numbers: 2024/28/11 24, 2027/19/12, 2024/271/11 24, and 2027/18/12.
No incidents of injury or damage have been reported to date.
