Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has finally broken his silence, speaking about the recent SEC decision to back down from its lawsuit against the company. In a recent interview, he expressed relief and optimism about the future of Ripple.
“We’re in the driver’s seat now,” Garlinghouse said, emphasizing that Ripple is no longer on the defensive side. He added that the company is ready to take control and move forward with new strategies.
Garlinghouse also touched upon the topic of Ripple USD (RLUSD), stating that their goal is to push it into the top 5 by the end of the year. He believes this market sector will experience dramatic growth, and Ripple is prepared to be a major player in it.
It’s worth noting that Ripple has yet to drop its cross-appeal against the SEC. Garlinghouse did not provide any further information on their plans regarding this appeal.
Despite the recent developments, Garlinghouse remained confident about XRP’s potential for growth.
