Crypto Influencer Ben Armstrong Arrested in Florida After Admitting to Active Warrant
Ben Armstrong, a well-known crypto influencer and self-proclaimed legal representative of his own affairs, has been arrested in Florida after publicly announcing the existence of an active warrant for his arrest.
Armstrong’s arrest was confirmed by the Volusia County Division of Corrections, stating that he was taken into custody at 7:18 pm local time on March 25. According to reports, Armstrong was listed as a fugitive from justice prior to his arrest.
The legal issues surrounding Armstrong stem from his decision to act as his own legal representative in an ongoing matter. As part of this effort, he reportedly sent multiple emails to Cobb County Superior Court Judge Kimberly Childs. Armstrong claimed that these emails were the primary reason behind the warrant issued against him.

In September 2023, Armstrong was arrested while livestreaming outside the home of a former business associate, accusing them of refusing to return his Lamborghini. In March 2023, Armstrong became embroiled in a class-action lawsuit alleging that he had promoted Binance, an exchange accused of selling unregistered securities. Jimmy Butler, a professional basketball player, was also named as a co-defendant in this lawsuit. It is worth noting that Armstrong and Butler eventually settled the matter for $340,000 without admitting wrongdoing.
Armstrong has continued to maintain his public persona despite these legal issues. He recently claimed responsibility for “saving” the Cardano project through his negative remarks on the platform’s performance.
