Logan Paul Reveals Desire to Compete in UFC, Blames Rival for Stalling Opportunity
Controversial social media personality and professional wrestler Logan Paul has expressed his interest in competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), stating that a certain rival ruined his chances of securing a fight.
During an episode of his podcast Impaulsive, Paul revealed that he had reached out to UFC CEO Dana White, offering himself as a potential contender for the upcoming event at the Sphere. However, he claims that White ignored him, suggesting that his WWE rival may have played a role in stifling his opportunity.
“I told Dana for UFC 300, I texted him, like, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in the Sphere (Noche UFC),’” Paul said. “He basically ignored me, which I think spoke volumes. I haven’t hit him about it since. But you know, I think for the right fight and the right amount of money… like, man, I’m an entertainer at the end of the day.”
The 29-year-old superstar has been open about his desire to explore other options outside of professional wrestling. While he acknowledged that he may not have the time or dedication required to succeed in mixed martial arts, he expressed interest in targeting opponents with similar or no MMA experience who also possess a significant following.
It is unclear what WWE rival Paul is referring to, but fans and followers will be eager to see if this opportunity arises in the future.
