
Nuclear startup Terrestrial Energy goes public via SPAC, netting $280 million in merger
Terrestrial Energy, a small nuclear startup, has merged with an acquisition company and is now going public through a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) merger. As a result of this deal, the Canadian company will receive $280 million.
Before the merger, Terrestrial Energy had raised approximately $94 million from investors, according to data from PitchBook. The combined entity plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ISMR.
