Pi Network (PI) News Today: March 27
The Pi Network has made some significant announcements today, as it continues to evolve and grow. Despite recent market volatility causing its token value to plummet by nearly 75% in the past month, the project remains committed to expanding its reach and functionality.
First and foremost, Telegram integration is now a reality for PI tokens. According to reports from CryptoPotato, users can now hold, buy, and store their PI assets within the messaging app, but unfortunately, they cannot send, withdraw or receive it through the wallet app yet. While the official Pi Network channel has not confirmed this news, numerous screenshots have been posted by X account holders on Pi News with evidence of the integration.
In separate news, the project addressed developers directly. A recent update from the official Pi Network X channel announced that community apps which have satisfied necessary listing guidelines and completed PiNet migration by May 28th can secure their domains without bidding, provided certain requirements are met. This opportunity is available to those who missed the initial migration window.
To move forward, developers will need to register URLs, set display preferences (mobile or desktop version), and optimize user experience to allow non-PI users to explore the apps. The community app is already accessible on PiNet for those who have completed their migration procedures.
Meanwhile, the PI token has continued its downward trend, with its value dropping by nearly 72% in just a month. Despite this downturn, some analysts remain optimistic about its future performance, believing that short-term pain may be followed by a potential surge to $5.
In related news, Moon Jeff predicts further price decline and possibly reaching levels as low as $0.6 before rebounding and hitting an all-time high. Andrew Griffiths is more positive, however, suggesting that buying opportunities arise when the token falls to $0.75 due to the creation of a Falling Wedge Pattern.
It’s worth noting that Pi News has urged users to focus on participating in the project’s construction rather than worrying about short-term price fluctuations. While some users have interpreted this as desperation, others believe it encourages collaboration and engagement within the Pi community.
