Jesy Nelson Shares Pregnancy Update from Hospital After Having Emergency Procedure to Save Her Unborn Twins Following Serious Diagnosis
In a shocking turn of events, former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has taken to social media to share an urgent pregnancy update with her fans. The 30-year-old announced that she had to undergo an emergency procedure at the hospital to save her unborn twins after receiving a serious diagnosis.
As many may recall, Jesy and her boyfriend Zion were recently spotted flaunting their baby bump on Instagram, announcing that they are expecting twins. However, it seems that their joy has been short-lived as a life-threatening condition known as Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) has been detected in the twins.
According to medical professionals, TTTS is a rare but serious condition where identical twins share a placenta and have abnormal blood vessel connections. This can cause one twin to become dehydrated, affecting its growth, while the other develops high blood pressure and excessive urine production, leading to heart failure.
The condition requires immediate treatment, and Jesy has had to undergo an emergency procedure at the hospital to save her unborn twins.
