House of the Dragon’s Showrunner Hopes He and George R.R. Martin Will Make Up ‘Someday’
In a recent interview, Ryan Condal, the showrunner of HBO’s hit series House of the Dragon, expressed his hopes to one day work with author George R.R. Martin on a new project.
Condal, who has been instrumental in bringing Martin’s Fire & Blood book to life as an adaptation for the small screen, stated that he would love to collaborate with the renowned author again in the future. When asked about potential plans for future projects, Condal mentioned that he is “hoping to make amends” with Martin at some point.
“I mean, George and I have a fantastic relationship,” Condal explained. “We’ll get there someday, and we’ll work on something else together. But right now, my focus is on this show.”
It remains to be seen what this potential collaboration might entail, but fans of the Game of Thrones universe are eagerly anticipating any future projects that could arise from such a union.
In related news, HBO has announced that House of the Dragon will continue into Season 3, with no release date yet confirmed.
