CZ Donates 500 BNB as Binance Airdrops $1.5M in Earthquake Aid
Binance has announced a major initiative to support the victims of the recent devastating earthquakes in Myanmar and Thailand. As part of this effort, the company’s CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has personally pledged 500 BNB tokens to aid relief efforts.
As a result, Binance Charity will be airdropping up to $1.5 million worth of BNB tokens to its users in Myanmar and Thailand. This substantial donation aims to provide critical financial assistance to those affected by the disaster.
The airdrop distribution will be based on user verification data, with recipients identified through their KYC (Know Your Customer) and POA (Proof of Address) information. Users who completed KYC or POA by March 31, 2025, are eligible to receive BNB tokens directly in their Rewards Hub.
The BNB airdrop is expected to be distributed by April 14, 2025, ensuring that those affected by the earthquake receive the aid they need as soon as possible.
