Tron: Ares‘ First Trailer Brings Us to a Whole New Grid
It’s finally here – the first trailer for Tron: Ares has arrived, giving us our very first look at the upcoming film. And let me tell you, it’s everything we could have hoped for and more.
As expected, the trailer doesn’t give away too much, but what it does show is incredibly promising. We’re introduced to a brand new, fiery red grid that looks unlike anything we’ve seen before in the franchise. It’s clear that director Joachim Rønning (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) has taken inspiration from the original Tron and its 1982 visuals to create a stunning new world.
The trailer also hints at some major changes in the storyline. Gone are the digital avatars of Kevin Flynn and Sam Flynn, it seems, as we’re instead thrust into a world where creations from the Grid are crossing over into our own reality. This could be huge news for fans of the franchise who have been waiting for a new chapter.
Tron: Ares boasts an impressive cast, featuring Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges reprising his iconic role as Kevin Flynn. It’s no surprise that the film has generated significant buzz among fans.
Tron: Ares is set to open in theaters on October 10, giving fans just enough time to catch their breath before it drops.
