Ripple’s Top Lawyer Names Main Barriers to Crypto Adoption
In a recent interview, Stuart Alderoty, the top lawyer at Ripple, has shed light on the main barriers to crypto adoption. According to him, investing remains the biggest use case for cryptocurrency owners, but surprisingly, a significant percentage of these individuals also use their digital assets for shopping purposes.
Alderoty emphasized that under the previous administration, crypto holders were being vilified, and the newly launched Non-Crypto Owner (NCA) is aiming to change this narrative. The NCA has received a $50 million grant from Ripple, which will be used to further its mission.
The lawyer stressed that the organization will remain apolitical, meaning it won’t engage in lobbying efforts. Instead, it will focus on educating people about cryptocurrency and amplifying the voices of everyday Americans who own these assets.
“We felt that it would be important to demystify crypto, make it more accessible, and really amplify the voice of everyday Americans who own crypto,” Alderoty said during the interview.
It is interesting to note that despite the current market fluctuations, the use cases for cryptocurrency continue to evolve and expand.
