Hugh Grant Slams “Creepy” Immigration Officer for Questioning His Children While Traveling
Actor Hugh Grant has taken to social media to express his outrage and frustration after a recent encounter with an immigration officer who questioned his children. In a series of tweets, the 64-year-old actor blasted the officer’s behavior as “creepy” and unacceptable.
“I’ve just been stopped by a U.S. immigration officer at LAX who asked my five kids, aged 6 to 18, some really personal questions,” Grant tweeted on Tuesday evening. “I don’t think that’s what they mean by ‘pre-clearance’ is it? Creepy.”
In subsequent tweets, Grant emphasized the need for privacy and protection of families when traveling. “We’re not asking for much just a little basic dignity and respect for our family… That’s all,” he wrote.
Grant also encouraged others to speak out against such behavior, stating that “we should all stand up” whenever we witness similar incidents.
The “Four Weddings and a Funeral” star has been vocal about social issues in the past, using his platform to raise awareness and support for various causes.
