Bitcoin ETFs Record $172.89 Million Weekly Outflows Amid Market Decline
The cryptocurrency market has been under immense pressure recently due to the announcement of new tariffs by President Trump, leading to a sharp decline in Bitcoin’s price and subsequent losses for investors. According to recent data, Bitcoin ETFs have recorded $172.89 million in weekly outflows as a result of this market downturn.
This significant outflow represents a major shift from the positive sentiment seen just two weeks ago when nearly $941 million flowed into these funds. The current market environment has caused investor sentiment to swing sharply in the opposite direction, with the Fear & Greed Index now reading 40, indicating growing caution among investors.
Bitcoin ETFs have collectively managed assets worth $94.45 billion since their inception in January 2024, which amounts to approximately 5.65% of Bitcoin’s total market value.
