
“AXE Ceremonia Festival in Mexico Suspended After Crane Collapse Leaves Two Dead”
Mexican music festival AXE Ceremonia has been suspended indefinitely after a crane collapsed on the event’s grounds, resulting in two fatalities and several injuries.
The incident occurred yesterday (April 2) at the festival site in Toluca, Mexico. According to reports, the crane was being used for stage construction when it suddenly fell, causing widespread destruction and chaos.
Emergency services were quickly called to the scene, and rescue efforts are ongoing. The two deceased victims have been identified as a 25-year-old female attendee and a 38-year-old male festival staff member.
The AXE Ceremonia organizers have issued a statement expressing their deepest condolences to the families of the victims and those affected by the tragedy.
“We are devastated by this tragic incident and are working closely with authorities to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to guarantee the safety of our attendees and personnel,” they said in a statement. “As a result, we regret to inform you that AXE Ceremonia 2025 has been suspended indefinitely.”
The festival was set to take place from April 3-4 and featured an impressive lineup including notable acts like Brighter Days Ahead, who recently released their reissue.
