Bungie’s ‘Marathon’ Reveal Date And Time, ARG Results, New Art, New Videos, It’s All Happening
Over the weekend, a torrent of new information emerged about Bungie’s highly anticipated project, Marathon. From the revelation of the reveal date and time to new artwork, music, and videos, it’s been an incredible few days for fans of the game.
The ARG (Alternate Reality Game) that was launched by Bungie has been nothing short of astonishing, with a dedicated team of puzzle-solvers working tirelessly through a Discord channel to unlock a vast amount of content. The puzzles ranged from deciphering codes in Vivaldi music to aligning virtual satellites for information. Among the discoveries were pieces of artwork, including menacing faces and almost-complete weapon designs.
The art was not limited to the ARG, as new pieces were released outside of it, providing fans with a deeper look into the game’s visuals.
In addition to this, several lengthy pieces of music from the game have been released, all of which are impressive in their own right.
As for what is coming next Saturday, April 12 at 10 AM PT, 1 PM ET, a new trailer is expected, likely building on the excellent debut trailer. Furthermore, it’s possible that gameplay will either be showcased during this event or by the numerous content creators and journalists who were invited to an exclusive preview event at Bungie last week.
These individuals include dedicated Destiny creators, larger streamers, industry figures like Geoff Keighley, and many others. The result of these impressions, interviews, and recorded gameplay footage will undoubtedly be a significant amount of coverage in the days following the reveal.
While there is still much to be seen about Marathon, this wealth of information has raised expectations for the project. As it nears its release date in late 2025, all eyes are on Bungie to see if they can deliver.
