Vitalik Buterin Won’t Like This Ethereum Prediction by Peter Schiff
As the cryptocurrency market continues to plummet, with Nasdaq and S&P 500 futures experiencing their worst drops in over three decades, it’s no surprise that the global markets have erased a staggering $5 trillion in value. The situation is so dire that even Brent crude oil has dropped under $64.
In light of this turmoil, Peter Schiff, a well-known cryptocurrency skeptic and gold advocate, recently made a prediction about Ethereum that Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, would likely not be thrilled to hear.
Schiff believes that the collapse of Ethereum’s chart in dollars is even more concerning when viewed in other currencies. He highlighted that the currency’s value has plummeted to an alarming extent when measured in both Bitcoin and gold.
As a result, Schiff warned that Vitalik Buterin should take a closer look at his creation’s performance in these alternative units, as it may be even more drastic than what he sees in dollar terms.
While Buterin might not be thrilled about this development, it is essential to note that the Ethereum founder likely won’t be panicking either. The creators of blockchain technology have witnessed numerous market downturns and are well-equipped to handle such situations.
In the meantime, investors should remain cautious as the global market continues to experience unprecedented volatility.
