
The Last of Us Has Been Renewed for Season 3
HBO has made the predictable yet exciting announcement that The Last of Us will be returning for a third season. This decision comes just as the second season is about to premiere on April 13th.
In an official statement, creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann expressed their excitement over the opportunity to continue the story of this critically acclaimed show. “We approached season two with the goal of creating something we could be proud of,” Mazin said in a press release. Druckmann echoed Mazin’s sentiments, stating that it has been a career highlight for him to see this show come to life on screen. “I hope someday I’ll get to make up” with George R.R. Martin about their work on Game of Thrones and The Last of Us.
