George Stephanopoulos Described Biden As ‘Heartbreaking Up Close’ During Crucial Post-Debate Interview: Book
ABC News host George Stephanopoulos has previously expressed skepticism about President Joe Biden’s ability to serve four more years, according to his new book.
Stephanopoulos described his own encounter with Biden as “heartbreaking up close” during a crucial post-debate interview, author Chris Whipple revealed in his newest book “Uncharted.”
Whipple described Stephanopoulos’ first impressions of Biden after the ABC News interview, saying that Stephanopoulos was caught on video saying he didn’t think Biden could serve four more years.
Stephanopoulos had responded to a man on the street asking whether Biden needed to step down when he made the comment. A spokesperson for ABC News told Fox News Digital at the time that Stephanopoulos was expressing his own point of view and not the position of the network.
As a result, Stephanopoulos’ comments sparked criticism from some who accused him of having biases against Biden.
