The Esports World Championship, scheduled for the summer, is set to provide a record-breaking prize pool of over $38 million, with more than $5 million being awarded to qualifying events.
According to reports, the majority of the prize money will be allocated to Game Championships, which will take place throughout the year. A further $450,000 has been designated for MVP Awards, recognizing standout performers across all competitions.
The remaining sum will be distributed among Road to EWC qualifiers, offering a significant incentive for teams to compete and advance through the tournament.
Team Falcons, the current Club Championship title holders, are looking to build on their success from last year. They won the inaugural event with a $7 million prize, saying it was a defining moment in their journey.
“We’ve used the momentum and winnings from last year to build on our success, and we look forward to continuing that legacy this summer,” said Team Falcons CEO Mosaad Al-Dossary.
The massive prize pool is expected to draw top talent from around the world, vying for the coveted titles and life-changing sums.
