Lucid Motors has emerged as the surprise winner in the bankruptcy auction for Nikola’s Arizona factory and other assets. The deal comes with a price tag of around $30 million in cash and non-cash considerations.
According to court documents, Lucid committed to acquiring Nikola’s lease on its Phoenix headquarters, along with “certain machinery, equipment, and inventory.” This significant acquisition marks a major shift for the company as it expands its operations.
