New AI Model Predicts 44 Earth-Like Planets — And It’s 99% Accurate

The AI model, developed as part of her doctoral thesis at the University of Bern’s Space Research and Planetary Sciences Division, utilizes an innovative algorithm that correlates planetary system properties with the presence or absence of Earth-like planets. The model was trained on data from the Bern Model of Planet Formation and Evolution, allowing it to identify patterns in star systems that are likely to host such planets.
