Bitcoin’s recent price swings have led to a lot of debate and uncertainty in the cryptocurrency community. However, one expert has made some bold predictions for the future prices of these three assets.
According to Cowen, an analyst who recently appeared on the Altcoin Daily channel, Bitcoin’s current market trend may be more stable than it initially seems. While the asset is currently trading within a range of $84K to $85K, he believes that there is no clear sign that this bull run has already ended.
Instead, Cowen suggests that we may be witnessing a “right-translated cycle,” where Bitcoin’s price peaks later in the cycle rather than early on. If this plays out as predicted, he expects the asset to climb anywhere from $120,000 to $150,000. This is not all, as he also rules out the possibility of Bitcoin reaching $300,000 by the end of this cycle.
However, it’s worth noting that 2026 could be a difficult year for crypto markets, repeating what happened in both 2018 and 2022. If a deeper pullback happens, Cowen advises against panic selling and instead recommends waiting for the market to produce a lower high later in the year, which could provide an opportunity for investors to exit or reposition.
In addition to his Bitcoin price prediction, Cowen also offered insights into the future of Ethereum (ETH) and Cardano (ADA).
Regarding Ethereum, he believes that it is currently going through a necessary correction, much like its past cycles. This correction is linked to the Federal Reserve’s policy. He sees a possible rebound for ETH once monetary policies stabilize, potentially reaching prices between $1,200-$1,600.
On the other hand, Cowen is not bullish on Cardano in the short term, as he believes it will continue to decline against Bitcoin until late 2025, unless there is a significant change in market conditions.
It’s also worth noting that while these predictions may seem bold, Cowen believes that Bitcoin could potentially reach $300K or more by 2030 due to increased adoption and market maturity.
