Title: ‘Super Robot Wars Y’ Reveals Full Series Roster And August Release
In a recent trailer, the highly anticipated Super Robot Wars Y game has revealed its full series roster and release date. The game will be released on August 28 for Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The initial teaser trailer did not reveal the complete list of included series, which is a common practice in previous games of this franchise. However, the new and more detailed trailer provides this information to fans eagerly awaiting the game’s release.
Among the surprises is the inclusion of Godzilla Singular Point and its version of Jet Jaguar. This addition is a welcome change for some fans, but others might miss the battleship additions from previous entries.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that ‘Aura Battle Dunbine’ will return in Super Robot Wars Y, along with the inclusion of units from the 1988 OVA. The recent resurgence in popularity of Dunbine is expected to lead to an increase in Aura Phantasm designs within the game.
A strong Gundam roster and the addition of Reideen, a series that has not been included in the games for some time, are also notable aspects of the new trailer. This inclusion celebrates Reideen’s 50th anniversary this year.
The release will also feature DLC units from Super Robot Wars V, X, and T, as well as Cybuster, which originated from spin-off Maso Kishin games. One original mecha design in the game will receive a Robot Damashii toy.
Super Robot Wars Y is set to be released on August 28 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC.
