Title: Today’s ‘Wordle’ #1439 Hints, Clues And Answer For Wednesday, May 28th
In today’s Wordle challenge, we have a fascinating puzzle to tackle. The hint provided is “Northerly bears,” which might seem unrelated at first glance. However, as we delve deeper, the clue that this Wordle has more consonants than vowels sheds light on the mystery.
The answer? It’s POLAR.
Let me walk you through my thought process for solving today’s puzzle:
Initially, I tried to open with a decent guess, BRIDE, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite fit. With 191 words remaining and only one yellow box, I decided to focus on finding two new vowels, O and A. After struggling to come up with a suitable solution, I eventually settled on VALOR.
Fortunately, this choice worked out well, reducing my word count to just three options: MOLAR, SOLAR, and POLAR. Since the first two words had likely already been used as Wordles in the past, I chose POLAR and, unsurprisingly, it was correct!
In a thrilling turn of events, the Wordle Bot didn’t quite reach the same level of accuracy as yours truly, finishing with a score of 0 points due to my victory. This brings our ongoing competition to Erik: 22 points, while Wordle Bot is now at 15 points.
To recap, here are the rules for Competitive Wordle:
* Guessing in 1 is worth 3 points
* Guessing in 2 is worth 2 points
* Guessing in 3 is worth 1 point
* Guessing in 4 is worth 0 points
* Guessing in 5 is -1 points
* Guessing in 6 is -2 points
* Missing the Wordle is -3 points
This system allows you to keep a daily running score or start fresh each day. Don’t forget that Fridays offer double the points, making them an excellent opportunity to catch up or push your lead.
