Nick Jonas Reportedly Set to Portray Paul Stanley in KISS Biopic
According to recent reports, singer-songwriter and actor Nick Jonas is set to portray the iconic frontman of legendary rock band KISS, Paul Stanley. The news comes as a surprise to many fans, as it was previously expected that a more experienced or seasoned artist would take on the role.
However, Jonas’s acting background, which includes roles in films like Goat and Jumanji, combined with his pop-rock roots, make him an intriguing choice for the part of Stanley. The KISS biopic, titled Shout It Out Loud, is said to focus on the band’s early years and the film industry publication Deadline has confirmed the news.
As a member of the Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas has carved out a successful career in the music industry, with hits like “Sucker” and “Only Human.” His stage credits also include notable productions such as Hairspray, The Sound of Music, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Additionally, he is set to appear alongside Paul Rudd in the upcoming musical comedy Power Ballad.
The role of Gene Simmons is reportedly still uncasted, but production on Shout It Out Loud is expected to begin later this year.
