SUI Jumps by 9% Daily, BTC Price Recovers $5K (Weekend Watch)
The cryptocurrency market has ended the week on a high note, with many altcoins posting impressive gains. Bitcoin’s price has also recovered some losses, pushing above $105,000 once again.
While many investors were bracing themselves for another tumultuous session after yesterday’s correction, it seems like the bulls managed to regain control of the narrative. Bitcoin’s price tumbled below $100,500 on Friday, but the bears could not muster a strong enough push to breach this crucial support level.
As a result, the cryptocurrency has clawed its way back up to $105,500 by midday trading today, despite some sellers still trying to hold it back. Meanwhile, Ethereum’s price continues to struggle below the psychologically important $2,500 mark, while Ripple and Binance Coin have managed to eke out small gains.
However, one asset that has truly stolen the show is SUI, which has absolutely exploded in value today. The altcoin has jumped by a staggering 9% on a daily basis, propelling it above the crucial $3.25 mark.
In contrast, HYPE has taken a more conservative approach, posting a decline of around 2%.
