Microsoft is finally releasing a handheld gaming console and it’s coming soon
After years of absence from the handheld gaming space, Microsoft has made a bold move to re-enter the market with its new Xbox Ally handheld PC. The company has partnered with ASUS to release two new handheld gaming consoles – ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X.
The ROG Xbox Ally is designed as much for console players as it is for PC gamers, featuring an AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It also includes expandable microSD storage, a 7″ FHD screen at 1080p with a 120Hz refresh rate.
While the ROG Xbox Ally has impressive specifications, the ROG Xbox Ally X is an even more powerful device. It will feature an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme CPU, 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The X model also comes with “impulse triggers” and additional connectivity options.
