Mario is feeling the vibes at the BET Awards 2025! The star sat down with us on the red carpet and dished about everything from his favorite Snoop Dogg jam to the impact of the 106 & Park tribute.
First up, music. When it comes to his go-to Snoop Dogg track, Mario is all about “Drop It Like It’s Hot”. We asked if there was a particular reason why this song stood out to him and he explained that the nostalgic value of the hit single holds a special place in his heart.
“I just remember listening to that song when I was younger and it brings back memories,” Mario shared. “It’s just an iconic track, you know? Snoop Dogg is a legend.”
Moving on to the 106 & Park tribute, Mario expressed his gratitude towards the late-night program for its impact on music culture.
“I grew up watching that show,” he said with a genuine smile. “The influence it had on my career and the careers of many others…it’s just huge. I’m so grateful that it happened.”
When asked about any memorable moments from the 2025 BET Awards, Mario remained tight-lipped, only saying “the energy in the room was amazing” before swiftly moving on to another topic.
