Title: MOLIY Wanted to Be ‘Heard in the Club’ – So She Made ‘Shake It to the Max’ & Got Everyone From J-Hope to Davido Dancing
In a recent interview, emerging artist MOLIY opened up about her journey and creative process behind her breakout hit “Shake It to the Max.” The track, which has taken over TikTok and dance floors around the world, is a testament to her unique blend of genres and her dedication to creating music that makes you want to get up and dance.
As MOLIY shares her story, she emphasizes the importance of being heard in the club. “I wanted to make something for the clubs,” she explains. “I’ve been on this journey where I’m always trying to be more authentic, and I knew that if I didn’t do it myself, no one else would.” With the success of her remixes, including tracks with artists like Major Lazer, Gladdest, Kalash, and Maureen, MOLIY is now making waves on the Billboard charts.
MOLIY also talks about what inspired this strategy. “What I love most about all of this is the people that we’ve worked with genuinely wanted to be part of the moment,” she expresses her gratitude towards collaborators. She’s got her sights set on future collaborations, too, including names like Drake and Wizkid.
While the Stefflon Don and Vybz Kartel remixes are still pending release, MOLIY remains optimistic about the timing. “I want it to come out,” she says. “She wants it to come out. Vybz is also excited for it to come out.”
