Coinbase Unveils New Listing for Ethereum-Based Crypto Assets: Details
In a recent development, Coinbase, a major crypto exchange, has announced the expansion of its roster by listing new Ethereum-based crypto assets. This move aims to provide users with more options and flexibility in the crypto market.
The newly listed token is Spark (SPK), an Ethereum-based asset that is now live on Coinbase and available for trading through the company’s iOS and Android mobile apps. However, it’s essential to note that this asset has been labeled as “Experimental” by Coinbase, indicating its relatively new presence in the market.
In addition to this listing, Coinbase also disclosed plans to include support for perpetual futures of Ethereum-based assets on its Coinbase International Exchange and Advanced platforms. The opening of the SPK-PERP markets will begin at 9:30 am UTC on June 19, 2025.
