SG Lewis Will Release a New Album This Fall: See the Cover Art
British producer SG Lewis has announced his third studio album, titled Anemoia, which is set to drop on September 5th. The record will be released through his own Forever Days label.
Anemoia follows up 2023’s AudioLust & Higher Love and 2021’s debut Times. Both of these projects achieved success on the Top Dance Albums chart, reaching numbers 13 and 11 respectively.
In addition to the album release date, Lewis is also embarking on a 14-date North American tour. The trek will kick off alongside Anemoia’s release and will feature support from Peruvian producer Sofia Kourtesis.
The album’s surreal cover art has been unveiled, giving fans a glimpse into what they can expect from the record. According to Lewis himself, the project explores his emotional connection with past eras of music, leading him to question why these times have had such an impact on him and others.
When discussing the inspiration behind Anemoia, Lewis reveals that he has drawn heavily from his time spent in Ibiza during the summer, where he was influenced by Balearic sounds. He further explains that even its more subdued moments will carry undertones of melancholy while still maintaining high energy.
The artist’s objective with Anemoia is to create a soundtrack for living in the present, allowing listeners to create moments they may one day feel nostalgic about.
