Kneecap Play Fiery Glastonbury Set, Take Aim at U.K. Prime Minister: ‘F— Keir Starmer’
Northern Irish trio Kneecap brought their signature high-energy performance to the iconic Glastonbury Festival on Saturday (June 28), drawing one of the weekend’s largest crowds with their late afternoon set.
The group, known for their bold lyrics and unapologetic stage presence, did not hold back as they took aim at U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer during their explosive performance. The crowd was electric as Kneecap launched into a fiery rendition of tracks from their 2024 LP Fine Art, as well as unreleased material.
Mo Chara’s impassioned words sparked a strong reaction from the Glastonbury crowd, with fans passionately chanting in response to his statements about Palestine and the ongoing legal battle surrounding an anti-terror charge.
