Ex-Meta engineers have built an AI tool to plan every detail of your trip
Two former Meta engineers have developed an innovative travel planning AI tool called Airial that aims to revolutionize the way we approach our trips. The startup, founded by Archit Karandikar and Sanjeev Shenoy, claims to provide a unique experience for travelers, ensuring that their journeys are meticulously planned from start to finish.
Airial’s capabilities include creating personalized itineraries that cater to individual preferences such as dietary restrictions or special interests. Users can also input specific details about their trip and the AI system will generate a customized plan, including flights, hotels, transportation, and daily activities.
The platform’s primary focus is on logistics, ensuring seamless connectivity between different parts of the journey. This includes calculating transfer times at train stations, proximity to hotel locations, and suggested transport options for multi-city trips. Additionally, users can now include car rentals and bus travel in their plans.
One of Airial’s most notable features is its social aspect, allowing friends to share and modify each other’s itineraries. The startup has recently added trip-sharing capabilities, making group planning a breeze.
