Amazon Unveils Its Prime Gaming Freebies for July 2025
In a major move, Amazon has announced its latest batch of free games and codes available to Prime members around the world. The company’s cloud gaming platform, Amazon Luna, takes center stage this month with a unique lineup of titles that will surely pique the interest of gamers.
As part of this initiative, Resident Evil 2 is now available on Amazon Luna until July 12 at 11:59 PM PT. Need for Speed Unbound and EA Sports FC 25 have also been added to the roster, but only for a limited time – July 5-6 and July 19-20/27, respectively.
Other notable titles include the director’s cut of Death Stranding, Hollow Knight, Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege, and various Fallout games. These titles will be accessible on Amazon Luna throughout the month of July.
Meanwhile, outside of the Luna platform, Amazon is also offering game codes to its Prime members as part of its regular monthly giveaway. This time around, a standout title has been added – Venba, a critically acclaimed bite-sized game that explores cooking, family, and the immigrant experience.
Other free games available through Amazon’s channels include Boxes: Lost Fragments on the Epic Games Store, Paquerette Down the Bunburrows also on the Epic Games Store, ENDLESS Space 2 Definitive Edition and Besiege: The Splintered Sea DLC on the Amazon Games App, and Venba on GOG. Rounding out the list are I Love Finding Wild Friends Collector’s Edition on Legacy Games and Heroes of Loot on GOG.
July is shaping up to be a busy month for gaming enthusiasts at Amazon, as the retailer prepares to kick off its highly anticipated Prime Day 2025 in about a week. In keeping with last year’s trends, it’s likely that more free games and codes will become available once Prime Day begins.
