BLACKPINK Send Fans Into Frenzy With Roll-Out of Mysterious ‘Pink Area’ Map
The K-pop sensation has left fans in a state of frenzy as they launched an interactive map, PINK AREA, on Tuesday morning. This innovative move comes just a day after the group revealed a cryptic image featuring all four members holding hands to form a four-leaf clover emoji.
Upon launching the website, users were greeted with the “Pink Area” map, showcasing popular tourist landmarks in Seoul marked as part of this new initiative. Interestingly, two locations – YG building and Shinsegae department store – featured bold messages stating “DO NOT JUMP,” with the words crossed out in pink spray paint. The purpose behind these warnings remains unclear.
As fans eagerly decoded the significance of the map, many speculated that it could be an indication of upcoming song titles or projects. Furthermore, given their world tour kick-off at South Korea’s Goyang Stadium on July 5, it is possible that these locations serve as a hint towards events scheduled to coincide with the commencement of the “Deadline” tour.
The interactive map, which was slow to load due to an overwhelming number of visitors, has set tongues wagging about potential new music releases or other projects. With no official statement from the group, fans continue to theorize about the true meaning behind this enigmatic move.
BLACKPINK’s latest album, “Born Pink”, released in 2022, was followed by individual members’ solo albums and singles. As we await further clarification, enthusiasts are left with a treasure trove of speculation as they eagerly anticipate their upcoming shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and other cities on the tour schedule.
