As the new DC film, “Superman,” hit theaters this weekend, it was only a matter of time before the right-wing community attempted to co-opt its message and themes for their own purposes. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. The White House has now jumped on the bandwagon by releasing a Photoshopped poster featuring President Donald Trump as Superman, with the tagline “A Trump presidency: Truth, Justice, and the American Way.”
