Furthermore, Seagate has launched two new high-capacity HDDs: 30TB Exos M and IronWolf Pro, built on its Mozaic 3+ platform.
The Exos M drive is designed for high-capacity energy-efficient storage that enables organizations to scale storage, optimize data placement, and support real-time edge analytics. The company emphasizes that this solution empowers businesses to address AI-driven workloads and accelerate their digital transformation initiatives.
On the other hand, IronWolf Pro HDDs are targeted at on-premise NAS systems, which support intensive workloads such as video analytics, image recognition, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), inferencing at the edge, and more. The company highlights that these drives will be available in QNAP and Ugreen’s NAS offerings.
Seagate has also focused on sustainability by incorporating more renewable energy and recycled materials into its products than ever before. This move aligns with growing demand for environmentally friendly solutions in today’s digital landscape.
