Bitfinex Enhances Trading Experience with Version 1.118 Update
July 17, 2025 – In a move to further elevate its trading platform, cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex has announced the release of Version 1.118. This significant update aims to improve user experience and performance, incorporating crucial UI upgrades and bug fixes.
As stated in their official blog, the primary focus of this new version is on enhancing accessibility and usability for traders. One notable change is the ability to navigate the trading header drop-down menu using the Enter or Space keys, resulting in a more accessible platform for users. Furthermore, enhancements have been made to the TradingView chart object tree modal options to facilitate smoother selection capabilities.
In addition to these UI improvements, Version 1.118 also addresses several bug fixes aimed at improving overall platform stability. A previously identified issue with page jumps during the Virtual Tour has been resolved, ensuring a seamless scrolling experience for traders. Other significant bug fixes include the accurate collapse of custom grid panels and the successful display of additional data in the liquidations widget without requiring scrolling.
As part of this update, Bitfinex has also made adjustments to its platform to improve functionality. The multi-select checkbox in the orders widget now updates correctly after all rows are unselected, and the depth chart has been modified to display layout buttons on small screens. Furthermore, the price scale limit for volume-based ticks has been adjusted.
Lastly, minor tweaks have been implemented, including the addition of a focus indicator in the ‘Learn more’ info icon within the tickers widget and improved tooltips visibility in the amount traded modal of the order history widget.
By tackling both UI improvements and bug fixes, Bitfinex demonstrates its commitment to providing a top-notch trading experience for its users.
