Lorde’s Ultrasound world tour has just got bigger. The singer-songwriter has announced the addition of second and final shows in Sydney and Melbourne for her highly anticipated 2026 Australian tour after an overwhelming pre-sale demand, Frontier Touring revealed on Wednesday (July 17).
The new dates will take place on February 19 at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and February 22 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. The additional performances bring the Australasian leg of her Ultrasound world tour to eight shows, marking her largest run across Australia and New Zealand to date.
Lorde is set to return to Australia after a three-year hiatus since her Solar Power tour wrapped up in 2023. This marks a significant moment for the singer-songwriter as she supports her fourth studio album, Virgin, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and topped the charts in ARIA Albums Chart, Aotearoa Music Charts, and the UK’s Official Albums Chart.
The singer has gained recognition for her thought-provoking lyrics, with hits like “What Was That,” “Man of the Year” and “Hammer” being some of the most popular tracks from Virgin. Critics have praised Lorde’s live performances for their raw intimacy and sonic reinvention.
“It has been way too long since I have been down under and I am so excited to be touring Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane next February,” Lorde stated in a statement.
The singer-songwriter has added second and final shows in Sydney and Melbourne as demand for tickets continues to soar.
