SZA has finally responded to the ongoing insults from Nicki Minaj, addressing the rapper’s latest jabs in a series of tweets. The R&B singer-songwriter took aim at Minaj, claiming that she had previously requested to collaborate with her.
In a series of tweets, SZA referenced the controversy surrounding Minaj’s recent posts about her, stating, “Nicki … You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response.” The tweet seems to suggest that Minaj has been trying to get in touch with SZA for a possible collaboration, but was rebuffed.
SZA also shared a screenshot of alleged texts between her team and Minaj’s team, which appear to show the rapper expressing interest in working together. In the post, Minaj had called SZA a “fake girl’s girl” and a “clown,” prompting SZA’s response.
The feud began when Nicki Minaj started taking shots at SZA on social media, criticizing her music and management. Minaj has continued to post about SZA since then, with the latest jab coming in the form of a tweet where she claimed that the industry wouldn’t even miss SZA if she “vanished.”
