Chris Larsen, co-founder and chairman of Ripple, has continued his sales spree by moving a staggering $26 million worth of XRP tokens to the popular US-based exchange, Coinbase. This development comes as the price of XRP surges to a seven-month peak, reaching $3.23.
This latest transfer is part of Larsen’s ongoing selling activities, which have already seen him shift 40 million XRP in January, valued at $116 million. Since then, his wallet has made several large transactions, including today’s $26 million move. As a result, he now holds approximately 332.5 million XRP tokens, worth over $1 billion.
Despite Larsen’s significant sales, the market remains resilient, with XRP’s price experiencing a remarkable 7% increase in the past 24 hours. This surge has propelled XRP to one of the best-performing cryptocurrencies in the top 10 by market capitalization.
