BNB Chain Explores New Ultra-Fast, Privacy-Focused Layer 1
In a groundbreaking move, BNB Chain has announced its plans to develop a new blockchain network that prioritizes speed and privacy. The ambitious project aims to confirm transactions in under 150 milliseconds, while processing over 20,000 transactions per second.
According to the proposal, this revolutionary layer one solution will not rely on intermediary layers for privacy features, unlike previous solutions. Instead, it will offer strong confidentiality without compromising regulatory compliance. This move is seen as a bold step by industry experts and enthusiasts alike.
To achieve these impressive speeds, BNB Chain has opted to use Rust-based clients for faster execution of complex contracts and improved memory usage and node syncing. This decision is expected to significantly reduce read times and eliminate duplicate access, ultimately paving the way for scalable performance without bottlenecks.
Moreover, the network’s gas limit per block will be increased tenfold, from its current capacity by enabling up to 5,000 swaps per second in decentralized environments.
