Raekwon has finally returned with a new solo album, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, and it is quite the exciting addition to his discography. The project marks the Wu-Tang Clan rapper’s first solo effort since 2017’s “The Wild”. This highly anticipated release features some big-name collaborations from fellow Wu members Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck and Method Man as well as Nas, Westside Gunn and Conway the Machine and Benny the Butcher.
This album is a testament to Rae’s ability to bring together talented artists to join him on this 17-track project. The beats provided by Swizz Beatz, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Nottz showcase Raekwon’s dedication to his craft.
As you might know, Wu-Tang Clan has recently concluded their final tour, and Rae is not ruling out another collaboration with the group in the future.
