Nicki Minaj has escalated her feud with SZA by dragging two other high-profile artists, Drake and Beyoncé, into the drama.
The rapper claimed that Drake initially wanted her, not SZA, on his hit “Rich Baby Daddy,” sparking outrage and confusion among fans. In a subsequent post, Minaj also made an allegation about Beyoncé, stating that she was hesitant to sing certain lyrics on a song with Minaj in 2015’s “Feeling Myself.”
Minaj began her latest rant by referencing Drake’s collaboration with SZA, writing, “I wonder if she know I turned down being on the ‘shake dat a– for drake’ song.” The statement implies that Minaj was approached to feature on the track but declined, instead choosing to work on her own project.
Minaj then went on to claim that Drake wanted her, not SZA, on “Rich Baby Daddy,” stating, “He wanted me & [Sexyy] on it. I said I want to wait for Pink Friday 2 for me & him to do a dricki song so it felt more special. And now that silly goose still out here shaking dat a– for Drake every day.”
The Queen of Rap then transitioned her attention to Beyoncé, writing, “Took the Btch 2 days to be coached on what to say & do next.” Minaj’s post seems to insinuate that SZA required guidance from Beyoncé before responding to Minaj’s initial posts.
It remains unclear if Drake and Beyoncé have responded publicly to Minaj’s claims.
